The Owner Says

In this original accommodation, inspired by the shelters of the trappers of the Far North, you can play at campers and cook barbecues... And when night falls, drift off to sleep in a real bed on a cosy bench base. Everything is provided for you to enjoy an idyllic holiday in the midst of nature. The Canadian tent can sleep up to five people.
The Canadienne Tent has two bedrooms: one with a double bed (140×200) and one with three single beds (60×200). The main room has a gas stove with two burners, a fridge, crockery, storage, table, armchairs, chairs, lanterns. Outside there is a wooden terrace with a parasol and two fold-out chairs.
Please note: all our Canadienne Tent accommodation is equipped and furnished in a similar fashion, but your actual accommodation, location and outlook may differ from that shown in the images.
The site has plenty of facilities including two swimming pools, a forest spa and a café-restaurant which opens for breakfast and offers a bread and pastry-ordering service (order the evening before, collect it in the morning and eat it back at your own accommodation). Meals generally start at around €10 and there are freshly-produced pizzas.
Huttopia Lanmary-Perigord is in a great location for exploring the Dordogne region. There are bikes available to rent and you can quickly link up with a long distance cycle route that takes you straight to Perigueux, home to several excellent museums. Nearby Brantome is popular for boat and canoe rental for paddling on the Dordogne, and Bourdeilles, for its magnificent castle (00 33 5 53 05 65 65), are also worth a visit. You'll have to hop in the car to find the nearest supermarket and there aren't really any shops within walking distance, so remember to stock up.
