The Owner Says
These wooden lodges include an indoor living/dining area, with a fully equipped kitchenette together with a variety of crockery and utensils. There is a private shower room with a shower and toilet. The bedrooms are set out as one double bedroom and one other bedroom with a bunk bed and an additional single bed. Please bring your own bedding or hire these as an additional extra.
Outside there is a table and chairs making it the perfect setting for al fresco dining any time of the day.
On site there is plenty to do from the swimming pool, volley ball pitch to petanque and table tennis. There is a kids playground, and in the summer a Kids Club arranges all sorts of crafts and activities to keep the little ones entertained, including open-air cinema nights and magic shows (high season).
There is a river which runs alongside the campsite – if you have your own kayak or canoe you can even canoe all the way to the ocean! (boat hire is not available on site as yet).
The beach is about a 40 minute bike ride away (bikes & child seats are available to hire from reception), definitely worth the ride, as once you arrive you are welcomed with huge white sandy beaches and beautiful ocean waves.
After all that effort and back at camp, enjoy a homemade pizza from the pizza-grill on site restaurant (July & August), either eating al fresco on the wooden decking area or taking it back to your pitch.
Order your baguette and pastries the night before so you can look forward to a tasty breakfast the next morning!
There is a small shop on site with all of the basics, but for greater choice and bank facilities these can be found just 6km away from the campsite.
The Landes is a beautiful area with a wealth of towns to visit from Seignosse to Hossegor (famous for its surfing), or Dax with its annual Feria (early August), where red berets and foulards are a must!
