Nestled among pine trees, this family-friendly chalet is the perfect place for a holiday for families or groups of friends of up to five people!
These wooden lodges include an indoor living/dining area, with a fully equipped kitchenette together with a variety of crockery and utensils. There is a private shower room with a shower and toilet. The bedrooms are set out as one double bedroom and one other bedroom with a bunk bed and an additional single bed. Please bring your own bedding or hire these as an additional extra.

Outside there is a table and chairs making it the perfect setting for al fresco dining any time of the day.

Features & Facilities

The site is huge and has five different facilities block spread across the camping areas. There's a heated swimming pool, paddling pool and water play area, a central lodge with internet and free Wi-Fi, a playground, boules pitch, table tennis, table football, volley ball court and indoor board games. 'Camper's corner' shop for any essentials you've forgotten, a library corner and tourist information in reception. snack-bar (with a sun terrace and special 'meal nights' during peak season) and activities for children throughout school holidays.

Magnificent Beaulieu sur Dordogne is on the doorstep. The tourist information centre (05 65 33 22 00) organises guided tours of the town or you can simply swan around in your time, visiting Abbey Saint-Pierre (05 55 91 09 94), the docks, the Penitents' Chapel, and the fabulous Renaissance House. It's also a 10km drive (or pleasant cycle) to Château de Castelnaud (05 53 31 30 00), an incredible medieval fortress with excellent views of the Dordogne valley.

Food & Drink

The bar-restaurant onsite serves excellent homemade pizzas, along with a host of other snacks and drinks best enjoyed out on the terrace. It's only open over the May public holidays and through July and August. Outside of those times there are still plenty of great eateries across the bridge in Beaulieu sur Dordogne.

Getting There

From Paris via the A20, take Exit 52 after Brive, follow signs for Collonges la Rouge, then Meyssac, and Beaulieu on the RD38.
From Clermont-Ferrand via the A89, take Exit 21, and follow signs for Beaulieu on the RD940.
From Bordeaux, take the A89 and when you reach Brive, take the A20, Exit 52 towards Collonges la Rouge, then Meyssac, and Beaulieu. Brive la Gaillarde SNCF train station 40km away
