Our Lotus Belle Stargazer tent comes equipped with a double bed with duvet, pillows sheets. An extra blanket for cold nights is stored underneath. There is a small gas stove, kettle and a selection of teas and coffee. A wind up torch and clock can be found in one of the bedside cabinets and there are solar powered fairy lights. Two mugs and two glasses with a bottle opener are also in the tent. Outside, guests have a fire pit , two chairs and a bbq.

The campsite has clean composting toilets, a shower and three drinking water points. Vehicles are not allowed on to the camping field which enhances the relaxed feel and safety of the site.

Guests have access to the main site's toilet & shower facilities which are 2 compost toilets made from reclaimed timber and a urinal. There are three drinking water points one with a stand up sink.

We also have have a hot shower, which is free to use 24 hours a day. During the winter the shower may not be available due weather conditions.

Around our site you will find 3 ponds which turn into pits at the end of summer surrounded by trees which can be explored. A wooded area is accessed over a small stream where you’ll find a pétanque pitch and a communal fire area. The campsite can also accommodate up to 2 horses with their own paddocks.

A relaxed, back-to-basics campsite on the Norfolk Suffolk border

Wardley Hill Campsite is an ecological campsite in the Waveney Valley. Wild flowers and grass are left to grow to encourage butterflies and bees. The long grass surrounds lush mown unregimented camping spots for you to choose, some secluded and others big enough to fit several families.

ur six-acre site has some woodland, a small stream and three seasonal ponds which can be safely explored during the summer. Our car free camping field is exclusively for tents while small campervans are also welcome to stay with us in their own area. For those of you looking for a Norfolk glamping experience we have a stunning Lotus Bell Stargazer tent, a huge Family Emperor Bell Tent, a locally crafted Shepherds hut, Hammock Hut and even a Tentsile Connect tent suspended in the trees.

Glamping Site Facilities

Huts made from reclaimed timber house 3 composting loos and there is a waterless urinal. There is a shower and 3 drinking water points (1 with a stand up sink). Recycling bins. Campfires permitted but must be raised off the grass (limited number of fire-pits available to borrow). Lotus Belle Tents come with their own fire-pit, BBQ, gas cooker, bed linen, glasses, tea & coffee. The shepherd's hut contains a pair of double beds (one of which slides away to save space), a cast iron wood burning stove and kettle, electricity, lighting and exclusive use of a separate composting toilet with a stable door and view of the neighbouring field. Around the site itself there are 3 ponds which turn into pits at the end of summer surrounded by trees which can be explored.
