The Owner Says

Molly is a 2 berth hut (two double beds), with french doors that open out into nature. She doesn’t have a wood burning stove, which gives you more space to move about. Molly has drawers built in under the bed and has cute little fold out table just for your convenience. She still has 12v electricity, outdoor seating, outdoor table, gas hobs and an awning. She is our most traditional and cosy hut. N.B Please bring your own bedding and linen.

Features & Facilities

We have beautiful shepherd huts, our own private access to the river via are custom made wooden steps, onsite kayak and paddle-board hire and instructor (best to call/book in advance) and plenty of wood to keep the fire going as the sun sets.

The Birds: Kestrels, Buzzards, Herons, the family of Geese and our local Cuckoo bird who flies over are some of the wildlife you see daily. The countryside and rolling hills for views. The river for swimming in on the hot days or to paddle down the river by canoes, kayaks or paddle-boards. Even walking along the river banks and taking in the wonderful scenery. We are fortunate enough to be near the coast and Brighton is just over 30-minutes away, another way to celebrate another fun day.

Food & Drink

The Fountain Inn is our local Pub and has a good reputation for lovely food and having a large pub garden with lots of outdoor seating. You can hire their venue for large groups and it also has its own skittle alley. Alternatively we have a local butcher over the road for some fantastic BBQ food if you want to cook for yourselves over an open fire or BBQ.

Getting There

If coming from London, on the B2135, drive through Ashurst, past The Fountain pub on your left and follow the road around the bend. The road straightens, as the trees clear, take the next left (marked by a flag; the one before the New Wharf Farm entrance). Follow the straight track until you see reception. If coming from the south, head towards Steyning and Ashurst. Turn right onto the B2135 to Ashurst and Partridge Green. Drive along the wiggly country road. As the road straightens, keep an eye open for New Wharf Farm sign on your right. Take the next right after the farm onto a track marked by a flag.

Shoreham-by-Sea is the nearest railway station, eight miles away. From there, you would need a taxi to get to site. Expect to pay around £25.
