There is a pub in Ashton (01736 763227) – serving traditional pub grub – that's about a 15 minute walk away. There's another in Breage (01326 564229), about 30 minutes' walk or a 5 minute drive. Amenities at Praa Sands beach include the Sandbar (01736 763516) and Beachcomber Cafe (01736762977), while nearby Porthleven has the greatest number of bars, pubs and restaurants with some of the best chefs in the county.
