The Owner Says
Churchay is a quiet meadow situated in a secluded corner of the farm. The tent is 6m in diameter and has a king size bed and two camp beds suitable for children. All bed linen and towels are provided. The bespoke 'Plopping Shed' is a short walk and includes an LPG shower and compost loo. There is an alfresco kitchen area equipped with a gas stove, crockery, cutlery, and most cooking utensils you will need. There will be a cool box and freezer blocks, these can be replaced daily in the freezer at the top of the field. The wood fired hot tub is nestled in amongst the trees. A firepit with swing arm is also provided along with wood from the farm.
Parking is along a field, so please be aware that very low cars may not be suitable.

Features & FacilitiesChurchay Lotus Belle is well equipped with a king size bed (and optional children's camp beds if required), table and chairs. It has its own compost loo and LPG shower, an alfresco kitchen with gas hob and cool box also has an alfresco Hikki wood fired hot tub and a firepit. We also supply a solar power battery hub to charge phones and supply lighting. The Landpods, Two Hoots and Little Coppet each have a double bunk bed and comfy seating area. Each have their own compost loo and shower and alfresco kitchen area with gas hob and a firepit. 12 Acres our quiet camping meadow has 12 pitches (each suitable for one large bell tent or 2 smaller tents), each having its own compost loo, picnic bench and firepit. There will be access to hot showers, freezer and a washing machine. All bed linen is provided for Churchay, Two Hoots and Little Coppet.
ActivitiesThere is an excellent pub The Shave Cross within a 20 minute walk from all the sites. There are nearly 8 miles of nature trails on the farm offering a fantastic chance to explore the hills and enjoy the sea views. We are also situated in a Dorset AONB and with the Jurassic Coast just a few miles away you will have plenty of opportunity for some fantastic scenery and activities.
Food & DrinkWashingpool is an excellent farm shop just 3 miles away. West Dorset is well know for its fantastic array of local produce. The Shave Cross pub is just 20 minutes walk from the camping field.

Approaching from the west, turn left off the A35 opposite the Charmouth turning, signed Whitchuch Canonicorum. Follow this lane into Whitchurch and turn left opposite The Five Bells pub. Continue for a couple of miles and then turn right at the Coppet Hill sign. Continue up the track past The Old Dairy and the Camping Field is the first field on the left. For the Landpods, follow the same instructions, but park at The Old Dairy. For Churchay, continue on through the farm for another half a mile and follow the signs to Churchay. Nearest train stations are Crewkerne, Dorchester or Axminster, all about 15 miles away.
