Laid-back, luxury pop-up glamping in the beautiful

countryside close to Salisbury and the New Forest.

A short drive from historic Salisbury and within an hour of Stone Henge, the New Forest, Winchester, stunning Dorset beaches, Poole Harbour, Bath and Longleat Safari Park.

Luxury Bell tents, communal area, swings for kids, firepits, walking and cycling on your doorstep.

Set on top of a hill with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and an abundance of wildlife, Hillview Farm is a small pop-up site with 5 luxury fitted tents. The tents come with a proper double bed and bedding, bed-side tables, carpets, rugs and seating around a firepit as standard. There is also tea and coffee available for guests and a set of 4 plates, cups etc to use. As well as 2 hot showers and 2 composting loos there is a games room and climbing frame for the kids and a large communal table to enjoy a great family meal or evening with friends with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside.

Additional single blow-up beds, BBQs, cool boxes and single bedding can all be hired for an extra cost. Drinks, ice and logs are available to buy.

Pitton is the perfect location to explore the surrounding areas of the New Forest and South Coast with their plethora of activities, but it is also a great place to explore locally. Located directly on several footpaths including the historic Monarchs Way and King Alfred's Way which can be walked or cycled, and a 10-minute walk from the National Trust’s Iron Age Hill Fort of Figsbury Ring where you get spectacular views over Salisbury Plain, Old Sarum and Salisbury Cathedral.

As well as Salisbury being less than 10 minutes away, there is a shop in the village and the local pub, The Silver Plough offers excellent food.

The site is set up to make the most of the fantastic views and is spread out so that guests can enjoy some space and privacy whilst also having access to a communal area and all the amenities.

Well behaved dogs are allowed (for a small fee) but must be kept on a lead due to the large amount of wildlife.

Lovely quiet hilltop site with views over surrounding farmland. Plenty of space around each bell tent. Facilities close by and the kids loved the games area with table football. Trudy was available and helpful.

Lovely field with wonderful view, clean and comfortable tents. Trudy is very friendly and helpful. Facilities are great and the cafe that’s a 10 min walk across the field is really good!

Luxury Yurts Rural Rustic Location
Absolutely loved Hillview camping the yurts were amazing and so comfortable and luxurious. Beds were comfortable and lovely, clean, white bedding. The location is amazing the sunsets and moon rises are incredible. The barn kitchen, compsot toilets and showers make it so user friendly and great for camping with children so safe and quiet. Thank you for an amazing get away look forward to coming back and telling all our friends too come join us too. 😀

Gorgeous spot, superbly run.
The setting is gorgeous with nice views and walks around it. The site is superbly organised with great facilities and finishing touches. The owners are extremely chilled but efficient and friendly. The tents themselves are very clean, attractive and comfortable. Good find, we will return.

Fantastic location and facilities - brilliant accommodating and chilled host. Would love to visit again. Watch the sunset from one side, moonrise from the other with sunrise coming into the tent. Absolute bliss

Nearby attractions

The site is a 10-minute drive from the historic city of Salisbury, where visitors can find one of the four remaining copies of the Magna Carta in Salisbury Cathedral (01722 555120). The Salisbury Museum (01722 332151) houses a fascinating archaeological collection, and various items related to Stonehenge. Speaking of which, Stonehenge is a 25-minute drive from the site, or a longer cycle ride away connected to site via the King Alfred's Way. Monarch's Way provides ramblers with an idyllic walk to explore that's steeped in history and, for kids and animal lovers, Longleat Safari Park (01985 844400) is a 50-minute drive away.

The Silver Plough (01722 712266) in Pitton is a 20-minute walk away, with a locally-sourced menu including vegetarian and gluten-free options and a spacious outdoor seating area. The Hook and Glove (01722 712247) in Farley is a 20-minute drive away, a proud and proper village pub with draught beers from local breweries and an extensive wine selection. A local fishmonger delivers a variety of fish and shell-food each day.Salisbury is a 10-minute drive and provides a variety of eclectic food in its various restaurants, pubs, and cafes, from Baroushka (01722 327628) and its Middle Eastern cuisine to the contemporary Indian food in Anokaa (01722 414142).
