Our hand-built shepherd’s hut's nestle back into the ancient woodland, perfect for couples who like a little more comfort with their camping with shared composting toilet, shower and kitchen sink for hut use only. Although cooking facilities are provided in the privacy of your hut, of course, you still have the option to use camp kitchen. Real flushing toilets & showers are situated behind Reception - just a five minute walk away.

The hut has a proper full-size (4’6″) double bed and comfy, real pocket-sprung mattress, cosy log-burning stove (with enough space on top to keep your kettle warm!), table and chairs, gas-ring camping stove and cooking equipment, cool box on request and of course a lovely setting.

Tariff – £72 per night. Price is for 2 people per night and includes full-size double bed with hypoallergenic bedding, 100% cotton bed linen and towels.

Glamping Site Facilities

Woodland showers and composting loos, plus a well-equipped camp kitchen. Campfires are permitted! The shepherd’s hut features a full-size double bed with pocket sprung mattress, log-burning stove and a gas ring cooker. Bell tents feature comfortably mattresses but they're sparsely furnished and you'll need to bring your own bedding (sleeping bags available for hire). There's a firepit outside. Woodland camping pitches allow for 1 tent and up to 5 guests per pitch. There are usually only 5 pitches available, but they can sometimes open a few more so do ask. Look out for red squirrel, roe deer, pine marten, and a whole range of abundant bird and wildlife. A whole host of activities are offered on site including, whitewater rafting, tubing, kayaking, canyoning, cliff jumping, disc golf and paintball – activities can be booked via the calendar (see above).
