The yurt meadow is secluded with four yurts and a cosy train carriage in a hay meadow surrounded by woodland under a very starry sky. Collect eggs from the hens that cluck around the yurts and fry them up for breakfast on your campfire while you listen to the birds singing. Taste delicious organic vegetables and meat from the farm shop
These two yurts are perfect for a group of people wanting to stay together, both of our Cuckoo yurts are right next door to one another. They can comfortably fit 5 people in one and 2 in the other with spectacular views of the mountains. The yurt is light and spacious inside with a king size bed and bunk beds. Inside you will find wooden floors, cooking facilities and a woodburning stove.
We'll also provide you with a generous basket of vegetables and eggs from the farm, as well as Welsh woollen sheets, firewood, organic teas and olive oil, salt and pepper, fresh flowers and candles, organic mattresses with fresh organic sheets – if you’d like to hire duvets and pillows please let us know.
You have you own picnic and campfire area with stunning views over the Cambrian Mountains.
Onsite we have two solar showers provide lots of hot water and on cloudy days we have gas to keep the temperature topped up. Our composting toilets are in a timber-framed hut built using green oak from our farm. They are probably the most beautiful toilets you’ll find! We have a snug cabin with space for everyone. It has a pizza oven, well equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove and a comfy sofa. Here you’ll find games, books, maps, outdoor cooking gear and a charging point.

We collected eggs, cuddled cows, swam in the sea and sat out under the stars. Lovely.
The Yurt Farm, in 2009 Thea and Laurie set up a small glamping site on their organic family farm twenty minutes from Cardigan Bay. Four muddy children later we are even more passionate about what we do; we live for wood, good food and fresh air. The yurt meadow is secluded with four yurts and a cosy train carriage in a hay meadow surrounded by woodland under a very starry sky. Collect eggs from the hens that cluck around the yurts and fry them up for breakfast on your campfire while you listen to the birds singing. Taste delicious organic vegetables and meat from the farm shop. Fire up the pizza oven. Meet the cows and sheep and harvest some tasty vegetables for tea. Play games in the communal cabin. Relax while your children build dens and catch grasshoppers in the long grass... you'll love it xx
Glamping Site Facilities
The yurts are exceptionally well equipped with organic futons, bedding, all cooking equipment including gas hob, a basket of farm goodies, a wood-burning stove plus logs and kindling. There’s even tea- and coffeemaking facilities and a first-aid kit. Outside each yurt there’s a BBQ or fire pit and a picnic table. The cabin has a 4-ring gas hob, more cooking equipment, board games and lots of extra bits and bobs such as toasty sandwich-makers to use on the fire. Next door is the compost loo and solar shower. There’s also a sand-pit, swing, a woodshed yurt for extra firewood and an ‘honesty’ farm shop with meat, veg and jam for sale.
