Canvas covered and comfy, this safari lodge is well set up for those wanting a bit of luxury whilst exploring France’s Auvergne region.
In this quiet and peaceful part of North Auvergne, the Domaine du Bourg is a beautiful and tranquil setting, ideal for relaxing or enjoying time with the family. These large safari tents come complete with two or three separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with stove, kettle and fridge freezer. Outside enjoy the covered terrace and recline in wooden deck chairs or doze away in the hammock on a sunny afternoon. Ideal for families or friends wanting to enjoy the great outdoors but with home comforts.
One tent has two bedrooms with each 2 single beds for total 4 persons and two tents have 3 bedrooms (double bed, stockbed and 2 single beds) for total 6 persons In each tent it is possible to add an additional campingbed. All bed linen is provided, so you can just arrive and start your holiday as soon as you set foot in your Safari Lodge!
A breakfast, if wished, is proposed every morning and a table d'hôte (3 course diner, drinks, wine and coffee/tea incluede) every saturday, monday, wednesday and friday.
The Domaine offers plenty to do for the little ones or big ones alike from a Volley-Ball pitch, acro park, to a petanque area, swimming pool, trampoline and sandpit and swings. A communal BBQ area with picnic tables, together with a bakery 50m down the road, and a butchers and further shops and cafe/restaurant at the port will allow you to enjoy local produce without venturing too far afield.
Local activities include kayaking on the Loire and idyllic bike rides, not to forget the beautiful and historic towns which are a must-see in this area.

A brand new half-timbered building houses free warm showers toilets, washbasins and dish-washing facilities. Toilet paper is supplied so you can leave your rolls at home. There is also a disabled room and baby facilities. Elsewhere there's a small pool and a covered seating area (where meals are served), which is handy as a day area.
