Features & Facilities
There is a toilet block with loos and three showers but each treehouse also has its own dry toilet. Cabins each have a terrace with a table and chairs. Inside they are kitted out with beds but guests need to bring sleeping bags and pillowcases. Campfires are not allowed but BBQs are for sale at €10.
The treehouses are set in a 27-hectare woodland which you are welcome to explore and there’s an orienteering course (€2 charge) around the site. For more treetop fun, head to Accrobranche Abr’en ciel (+33 6 45 77 85 85), a 15-minute drive from site. Other attractions within a 20-minute drive include the Château de Martainville with its Museum of Normandy Traditions and Arts (+33 2 35 23 44 70), Zoo of Clères (+33 2 35 33 23 08) and the Bois-Guilbert sculpture garden (+33 2 35 34 86 56).
Food & Drink
Breakfast is included with stays and is delivered to your treehouse via a winch and pulley system. You can also order dinners if booked in advance at an extra cost. For a meal out, head to Buchy, eight kilometres from site – there are a coupe of good restaurants near the old covered market place and an excellent crêperie.

Coming from Rouen on the A28, take exit 12 for Moulin d'Ecalles, pass over the motorway, and continue for 1 km. Turn left in the direction of Longuerue. You have to go under the A28, then cross the railway. Continue in the direction of Longuerue, then St Germain des Essourts. On leaving Longuerue, take the road to the right to cross the wood.
The closest railway stations are at Longerue Vieux-Manoir (16km away) and Monterollier (20km away). Les Cabanes de Fontaine-Châtel can arrange pick up from either for €10/€20.
