Norfolk setting, surrounded by beautiful  countryside and villages but also within striking distance of Reepham market town just 1 mile away.
The area is wonderful for walking with immediate access to many footpaths and there's a magnificent church at Salle, just across the fields. Striking for its size given the tiny village – it was funded by several local lords, including the Boleyn family. For cycling, The Marriotts Way Heritage Trail is just down the lane (less than a mile away) and offers a car-free route all the way into Norwich or, in the opposite direction, to the market town of Aylsham where National Trust-owned Blickling Hall has extensive grounds, gardens and a lake to roam around, as well as going into the 17th-century stately home itself.  The coast is just half an hours drive away as is The Broads and Norwich.

Food & Drink

A few minutes walk away, All Day Brewing Company (01603 327656), craft brewers specialising in wild and mixed fermentations. They also ferment a range of foods for the kitchen and serve up freshly made vegetarian and vegan food, including wood fired, sourdough pizzas on Friday and Saturday evenings (beers and ales available Tuesday–Saturday).

Located next door the taproom is artisan coffee roasters  - The Norfolk Coffee Co. Ethically sourced and roasting beans right there on the premises. Pop in to buy freshly ground beans or for a coffee and cake.

The farm also hosts a vegetable box scheme, Salle Moor Market Garden (01603 879046), so organic seasonal vegetables and mixed salad leaves can be purchased right on your doorstep.

In Reepham,  The Kings Arm's (01603 870345), a 17th-century coaching inn, serves good food with many vegetarian and vegan dishes available. The Georgian country house, Dial House (01603 879900) with its quirky interiors  is the one for fine dining. Open for breakfast , lunch and dinner. Both are on the main square, where there's also a good butcher's and, just off the square, V's café (01603 879300), which offers something more quick and casual during the day. Three miles in the opposite direction, it takes around 10 minutes to drive to beautiful and historic Heydon, where The Earle Arms pub (01263 587376) and a local tearoom (01263 587211) overlooking the village green.

Beautiful Wagon

Such a beautiful wagon set in a lovely location. The Green Cabin Wagon had so much attention to detail, all the comforts and lots of style. Shared facilities were really great and clean. It was wonderful to be able to relax with a fire in the outdoor space after meal at the local pub - lovely and easy walk to get there. Onsite coffee company was a bonus too! Loved chilling watching wildlife from the wagon steps, altogether a lovely stay!
