Food & Drink

Excellent restaurants and pubs can be found in nearby Lavenham and the surrounding villages. The nearest are 2 miles away in Preston St Mary (The Six Bells) and Lavenham:

Our personal favourite is Number 10 in Lavenham, a great bar and restaurant with a brilliant atmosphere and good food.

The Greyhound is also excellent.

Also popular in Lavenham are The Great House and the Cock Horse Inn, Memsaab and The Gallery at The Swan.

And there are plenty of delightful tearooms: Lavenham Blue Vintage Tea Room, Tatum’s Teahouse, Chilli and Chives to name but three.

Lavenham also has a variety of food shops including small supermarkets, an excellent Butchers and delicatessen, Bakers, Grocers, etc.
