Features & Facilities

All facilities are inside the pods themselves. That is the kitchen which has the cooking facilities and also the washing facilities for the pots and pans. The rest of the site is quite basic other than that but has great views and horses in nearby fields.

There are 2 local pubs which are about a 10-15 minute walk from the site (these also serve food). There are also plenty of things to do which are a short drive into the Peak District  (including walking, cycling, wild swimming, water sports etc). We are also near to popular attractions such as Chatsworth House and Bakewell which are great for a day out.

Getting There

Once you get into Chesterfield town centre follow the A619 westwards for about 15 minutes
Turn right into a village called "Wadshelf"
Drive straight through the village and you'll arrive at a crossroads with a school on your left
Drive straight over at the crossroads onto "High lane" and take your first left hand turn (there will be a sign post saying "Moorhay Farm")
You are now on the lane leading to the pods, follow it all the way down and you have arrived

If you are at Old Brampton:
Follow the road westwards, drive past St Peter and St Paul church (with the church on your right hand side as you drive past it)
Keep going for about another 5 mins drive and you'll eventually see the Royal Oak pub also on your right hand side
After you've reached the pub keep going and take your next right hand turn which is at a crossroads opposite a small school onto "High lane" Then take your next left (there will be a sign post saying "Moorhay Farm")
You are now on the lane leading to the pods, follow it all the way down and you have arrived
There is a bus stop at the top of our lane (about 10 mins walk) - it is currently the number 170 bus and comes from Chesterfield town centre every hour.
