The Owner Says

Wold Meadow boasts six indulgent, luxurious, circular canvas dwellings – just for adults! Each luxurious yurt boast their own individual shade palette. The yurt offers a comfortable king size bed, loaded with pillows and throws and covered in luxurious cotton bedding, together with fluffy towels and bathrobes. On the chillier nights our log burners will warm your body and soul, as will our outdoor hot tubs for an evening under the stars.

Each have an electric cool box, kettle, crockery, cutlery and non breakable glasses. Outside are individual patio areas with a bistro table and chairs, fire pit and barbecue – all illuminated with outside lighting and views to die for across the Wolds. For a different culinary experience wander over to the undercover outdoor kitchen (from Spring 2022) boasting a large fridge freezer, oven, microwave and toaster – there for all our occupants to share and perhaps have a natter with each other at the same time, whilst quaffing a well-deserved beer, wine or Gin and Tonic! (not supplied!) You can heat up dishes that you have previously prepared or brought back from the local shops, using the range of oven trays provided. What more could you ask for?

Getting down to basics, each yurt have our own personal designated showers, WCs and washrooms in an amenity block (max 75m away from furthest Yurt) – not forgetting the niceties of life with toiletries supplied (don’t forget to bring the towels we have supplied you with). And finally, closer to your base are two communal ecological composting toilets shared between all 6 yurts, an added convenience if you don’t want to walk too far in the middle of the night (available early 2022)

Getting There

We are located 2 miles off the B1249 which runs north/south from the A166 (York to Bridlington road) and the A64 (Leeds to Scarborough road). As you approach Foxholes from the south or just leaving it from the north there is a cross roads. Turn off to Wold Newton and travel 2 miles into centre of the village just past the duck pond and then turn right at Pub. Up Rainsburgh Lane 200 meters, round the sharp right over a bridge, 50 meters sharp left and we are 50 meters on the right. Turn in to us and along the recycled road and park by shower block. Our accommodation is in the field past the shower block.    The Nearest train station is Filey. However we would recommend that you have use of your own car in order to take full advantage of everything on offer around here.
