From the M3, take Junction 9 and head towards the A34. After 500 yards the road splits in two, take the right hand lane heading towards Winchester and Basingstoke. At the first junction, turn right and take the B3047 to Alresford. You pass through Martyr Worthy before arriving at Itchen Abbas. Just before the Plough Pub, turn right to Avington. You will go over a few bridges before the road turns right with the option to go left, take the turning left and you should have the golf course on your right. A few hundred yards on your left you will pass a cottage with a turning into the farm (don’t go down there!). Just after that, there is another turning left into a wide gravel covered road with a sign marked 'Avington Trout Fishery', turn left here and follow the road round, over the little bridge until you get to some green gates and then you're at the site.
