The Owner Says
Maggie is a gorgeous green coloured, tin cladded shepherds hut. She's 18x7 feet, so there's plenty of space for lounging around or eating inside. She's equipped with a king size bed with a gloriously heavy duvet and sumptuous deep pillows. She has an en suite shower room with flushing toilet (so there's no nipping to the loo block in the middle of the night). She also has a wood burning stove to keep you warm on those chilly spring or autumnal evenings.
Outside the hut you'll find a wood burning hot tub, which only takes about an hour to get warm, so light it and head off on a walk and return to a wonderfully warm tub. A fire pit and a gas BBQ, as well as a lovely lounging area. Don't forget to order one of our locally-sourced raw breakfast or dinner hampers to cook on your fire pit.
She's situated at the top of a hill with view across the farm. You'll have complete privacy with no other guests, houses or roads in sight.
There's the option to have a bell tent alongside your hut for children or friends, just ask when booking (bell tents have an additional cost). Do bear in mind that the hut only sleeps two, the bell tent outside can sleep up to four people, but those people will be sharing the shower room and cooking facilities with the hut (so it only for close friends or older children). Do get in touch if you have any questions. Dogs are very welcome in this hut.
Features & FacilitiesThe private wood fired hot tub outside each hut is a real highlight. Both huts are very private, you won’t see any other houses, roads or guests from your hut. The huts are set in a 500 acre farm, which you are free to roam. Both our huts are off grid and sustainability and caring for our environment have been a real priority for us throughout the setting up of the business.
ActivitiesRolling countryside and fantastic wildlife. Not only the farm animal mentioned above but there’s also wild deer on the farm, badgers, pheasants and foxes. We’re so close to the Cotswolds and there’s so many places to explore - Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa and Bicester Village are all nearby.
Food & DrinkThe best option is to order a hamper of locally sourced food, for breakfast or dinner, which can be delivered straight to your hut to cook on your fire pit or gas bbq. All our food is either home grown on the farm or from the local farm shop. We’re on the doorstop of the Cotswolds so there’s lots of fantastic pubs, some good ones include: Very local... The Falcon at Warmington, The Plough at Warmington, The Inn at Farnborough.
