The Owner Says

We have 2 beautiful 5-metre Luna Tents, which with the added height, really do make you feel like you are in luxury. This Luna Tent sleeps 3 - one double bed and one single day bed (a travel cot can be added in the extras section); all beds have duvets to keep you cosy. The tents have an electric fire stove inside to keep you warm on a chilly night and also their own outside seating area and brazier to have a fire and toast some marshmallows.

Prices are £90-110 a night based on 2 people sharing – each extra person is charged at £10 per night.

We provide the following: Bedding and towels, hot water bottles, blankets, plates, glasses, cutlery, a kettle, cooking utensils and a small fridge for each unit. A washing up area with hot running water. There is drinking water on-site from a designated tap. There are 2 wheelbarrows available to move your things from the car park to the tent as unfortunately, you will be unable to drive across the field.

Each tent has its own allocated bathroom, with hot showers and flushing toilets giving you complete privacy. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible at this time and the showers are raised requiring you to step up into them.

There is a communal fire pit and 3 x Gas BBQs for anyone to use. One bag of wood will be provided, though you are welcome to purchase more at £7 a load. Please bear in mind that we are not based on site, therefore you will need to arrange this with us earlier in the day.

High chairs, travel cots and changing mats are available upon request.

We are lucky to be surrounded by natural beauty and have an abundance of wildlife on the farm. You can expect to see Red Kites soar overhead, hear the owls hoot at night, see sheep grazing in the meadow and if you look carefully you will often see hare and deer roaming in a field.
You are able to walk to both neighbouring villages, Goring-on-Thames and Cholsey, within an hour or if you are wanting a bigger walk, you have the Berkshire/Chiltern Downs on your doorstep which has stunning views along The Ridgeway!

Alternatively, if you prefer a flatter walk, you can follow The Thames Path which provides excellent walking in either direction.

We also have plenty of National Trust sites around.

Other activities in the area include:

Hire a boat from The Beetle and Wedge

Beale Park - a popular small wildlife park 15 mins from the farm

Fishing in Goring-on-Thames (you must remember to get a fishing license for Goring Lock)

The Oxford Wakeboard and Ski Club or Wet n Wild –Be towed behind a speedboat on water skis, a wakeboard or a giant inflatable doughnut! Or if you'd prefer to try out the giant inflatable water park at the same site!

Perfect experience for my first glamping stay!

We stayed for 2 nights in a bell tent last week. I have never been glamping before and was really pleasantly surprised how much I like it! The tent was spacious and had everything we needed. The toilet/shower block was nice and near, and it was really clean! For breakfast we ordered the bacon baps, they were delicious! I was a bit worried how the cooking will work, but it was easy. For dinner we cooked barbeque both days using the gas BBQ – it was great. There was a climbing frame and other toys for kids so both of our 6 and 2 year olds were keeping themselves occupied. After the evening meal we toasted marshmallows just outside of our tent. There was enough wood for fires on both days, but we didn’t stay up too late. During the day we went for a long walk and would recommend it to anyone! Overall, fantastic experience, really beautiful location and great facilities, I couldn’t have asked for more!

Amazing Glamping experience

Wow! I have just spent a weekend at Rolling Fields Glamping and I have well and truly been converted. Monica and Fiona have added so many personal and thoughtful touches to the amazing site. The tents are beautifully furnished and have everything you could possibly need - from proper beds with duvets to tea and coffee and even blankets and hot water bottles. Each tent also has its own toilet and shower - nicer than my bathroom at home! There is a playground on site and gas barbecues for communal use. The Beetle and Wedge pub was only a 10 minute walk away. I will cherish the memory of sitting around the brazier with my family, toasting marshmallows and watching the beautiful sunset. We are already booking another trip!

Getting There

To get to Greenlands Farms you will need to come via the A417. If coming from Blewbury, the farm entrance will be on the left and, if from Goring, it shall be on your right. Once you’ve entered the farm, follow the signs straight ahead and you’ll find the entrance to the glamping a little way up the lane on the left hand side. There is parking immediately to your left as you enter the field where you’ll find wheelbarrows to help you move your belongings from your car to your accommodation.

The closest station is Cholsey railway station, which is on the Great Western Mainline with trains from Paddington. You can walk from Cholsey Station which is a 45 minute walk or book a taxi to take you to Greenlands Farm, this is a 5 minute drive (you will need to call a taxi in advance as there aren't any at the station).
