Glamping Site Facilities
Yurts are each finished with a double bed (bedding provided); double futon, wood-burning stove, rugs, cupboards, tables, chairs, wind-up radio, coolbox, kettle, crockery, tea towels, and outside have their own barbecue and cooking equipment, gas stove and even an electric hook-up for charging your phone. Bath towels are provided for an additional fee, as is the bedding for the futon (£15). The communal barn houses 4 sparklingly clean power showers and 4 loos. Its living area is spacious yet comfy, with sofas and big tables and chairs for evening meals. Vases of freshly cut flowers adorn the tables and you’ll find it chock-full with maps, info and games to borrow. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, communal fridge and freezer and tea, coffee and sugar. Head along to watch Mark milk his herd of dairy cows in the evenings or be the first to light the communal campfire. Kids just love using the hay bales beneath the outer barn’s roof as an improv theatre for their Oscar-hopeful performances.
