Extra single mattresses can be added to accommodate children. Outside, each has its own fire pit and seating area. ActivitiesPerry Tree Glamping is a 10-minute drive from the historic black and white market town of Ledbury, where you can get all your daily needs as well as exploring the boutique independent shops. Weston’s Cider Mill (01531 660233) is just down the road, home to the world famous Stowford Press cider, or, if you’re feeling up to it, take on the Oliver’s Cider Tour (07768 732026) just 5 minutes down the road – an artisan cider producer not to be taken lightly! New Bridge Farm Park (01531 670780) is great for the family – think tractor rides, playing in straw bales and picnicking among the animals when the sun's out. It's also 20 minutes to Hereford, home to yet another cider tour as well as, more famously, grand Hereford Cathedral, which houses the Mappa Mundi (01432 374200), the largest medieval map in the world.
Food & DrinkCharcoal BBQ’s are available to buy on-site and there is a simple camping gas stove for use. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided. Elsewhere, The Hop Pocket (01531 640323) and The Nest (01531 670816) are both around a 5-minute drive and both fantastic little farm shops to pick up all your locally produced supplies, while Ledbury (10 minutes) has everything else covered from large supermarkets to local butchers. The Majors Arms (01531 640261) is the nearest pub, 5 minutes drive away, and has one of the best drinking view points in the county, quite possibly the country. For something a little more refined The Oak Inn (01531 640954; 7 minute drive) in Staplow or The Verzon Hotel (01531 670381; 5 minute drive) are great choices.
From both the A417 and A4103, take the turning sign posted ‘Stretton Grandison, Upper Eggleton’. Once on that road, just keep your eyes peeled for the large pear flag flying above the entrance, you can’t miss it. Ledbury train station is 7 miles from the campsite. Hereford and Worcester stations are 11 miles away.
