Features & Facilities
Airstreams have everything you need, including seating areas, a dining space and a well-equipped kitchen. Each has a bathroom (loo, shower and sink), comfy beds with bedding and linen, fluffy towels, central heating, air conditioning, TV/DVD, hi-fi with surround sound, iPod, USB and MP3 connectors. The exact spec varies slightly depending on the Airstream you choose. You can hire a firepit for the duration of your stay and purchase logs on site. For £80 per night you can also book a six-person hot tub (limited availability).
Activities
It takes less than 10 minutes to drive to the National Trust’s Brockhampton Estate (01885 482077), a traditionally farmed estate with a medieval manor house. There are new orchards to explore and walks that pass through dingles and woodlands that are great for kids. And, if history’s your thing, both 15th-century Hampton Court Castle (015687 97777) and neoclassical Berrington Hall (01568 615721) are also both within 20 minutes. For outdoor exploring, it’s not far to the Malvern Hills and the Wye Valley (great for day trips in a canoe), while, on rainy days, it’s 25 minutes to either Worcester or Hereford, where you can visit the famous cathedrals (the latter home to the world famous Mappa Mundi).
Food & Drink
It’s just over two miles into Bromyard, where there’s a Co-Op, a butchers and a few eateries along the High Street. Just out of town, Legges Café (01885 482417) is a must (focused on locally sourced produce in all that they do). For a characterful old haunt, try a pint at The Live & Let Live (01886 821462; five miles) in Bringsty Common or enjoy the big beer garden and mobile food trailer at The Talbot (01886 821235; eight miles) in Knightwick.
