The Owner Says

The yurt meadow is secluded with four yurts and a cosy train carriage in a hay meadow surrounded by woodland under a very starry sky. Collect eggs from the hens that cluck around the yurts and fry them up for breakfast on your campfire while you listen to the birds singing. Taste delicious organic vegetables and meat from the farm shop.
We'll also provide you with a generous basket of vegetables and eggs from the farm, as well as Welsh woollen sheets, firewood, organic teas and olive oil, salt and pepper, fresh flowers and candles, organic mattresses with fresh organic sheets – if you’d like to hire duvets and pillows please let us know.
Lined with western red cedar our train carriage smells amazing. There is a comfy king sized organic mattress and a woodburner to keep you cosy, it can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 children. A small but well equipped kitchen to cook up the eggs and vegetables from your welcome basket (all grown on the farm). Watch out for the blue tits that often nest in the door.
Onsite we have two solar showers provide lots of hot water and on cloudy days we have gas to keep the temperature topped up. Our composting toilets are in a timber-framed hut built using green oak from our farm. They are probably the most beautiful toilets you’ll find! We have a snug cabin with space for everyone. It has a pizza oven, well equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove and a comfy sofa. Here you’ll find games, books, maps, outdoor cooking gear and a charging point.
