Crai Valley Glamping is set on a 330-acre organic valley in the Brecon Beacons scenic countryside allowing guests to unwind and relax and simply enjoy the natural beauty and views of the surrounding landscape. The River Crai runs at the bottom of the meadow where the Shepherd huts are located bringing all kinds of wildlife. Try out some trout fishing or step across the stepping stones in the river and explore a secret island where you would be able to have a picnic or simply escape from it all with a blanket and a good novel.
Each hut has a comfortable fitted king sized bed and double bed, ensuite bathroom with a powerful shower, wash basin, heated towel rack and a proper flushing toilet. There is also a small fitted kitchen with Belfast sink, hob, oven, fridge, toaster and traditional style dresser units for extra storage. There is a dining table with seating for 2 guests (additional stools available for extra guests). You have your own wood burning stove and underfloor heating just to take the chill off in the evenings. Each hut has plenty of storage compartments for luggage that can be tucked away and also an outside porch area to put you outdoor clothing and boots. A tap is also available to wash down bikes and muddy footwear.
Spend your evenings taking in the surrounding countryside on your private large decking area at the front of the Shepherd's hut with a bespoke outdoor dining table and rocking chair.
For the younger members of the group there is a tree house with a swing attached and a small table and chairs where you can sit and read, colour or just play. Explore the heart of the Geopark and benefit from the display of stars in our very own Milky Way 'Dark Sky Reserve' destination site.
Nearby are several eating and drinking houses which have been very highly recommended by other guests, the Tanners Arms and Usk & Railway are within walking distance from the huts.
