All of our bell tents are set alongside the river. Bell tent 1 is set in a magical wooded area, and is sheltered by a smattering of trees, which provide dappled shade on hot days and shelter on the not so hot ones!
Although not as much headroom as the yurt, these tents are by no means small! They measure 3 Meters in height and 5 Meters diameter. The manufacturers claim you could easily fit 4 double beds in, however, as this is Glamorous camping, we have stuck to just the one (a double), along with a couple of single futons, and simple furnishings, to maximize space. An extra bed or cot is available.
Full bedding is provided for the double bed, just pillows are provided for the others, all you need to do is pop in sleeping bags for the kids!
For your comfort, you’ll also find an abundance of rugs, cushions, blankets and a range of lighting, and of course the wood burning stove to cozy up to (a basket of logs will be provided free, more can be purchased on site for a small charge).
A small selection of games, books and toys can also be found in each of the units, to help occupy the little ones on those rainy days.
Both the yurt and the bell tent have their own kitchen hut adjacent. These comprise a double burner gas stove and grill, and all the pots, pans, cutlery and crockery you could need. Lots of extra bits, such as colander, cheese grater and of course the bottle opener will be found here! Anything we’ve missed, please ask and we’ll be sure to find it for you. On booking you will be provided with an inventory of what’s here already and what you may wish to bring. We also use and supply eco friendly cleaning products for your stay.
As there is no electricity on site, refrigeration is via cool box. Ice packs will be replaced regularly to ensure your goods are kept chilled.
Each unit has an alfresco eating area and a range of deck/comfortable chairs for reading your book or just enjoying the surroundings.
A fire pit is also provided, which can be used as a campfire or barbeque, just perfect for toasting marshmallows. The first bag of Charcoal and logs will be free with extra available on site for an extra charge.
Tucked away on a lush, arable farm, with awe-inspiring views of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons, lies the eco-friendly Wye Glamping. The site's ethos is simple: relax and cosy up with Mother Nature in true comfort and style.
