Features & Facilities
Each safari tent has an indoor toilet and a private outside shower/toilet pod. They are fully kitted out for self-catering stays with an open-plan living area featuring a fully-equipped kitchen including a full-sized fridge and freezer, five-ring hob, oven and more. There’s also a dining table and chairs, sofas, television and a wood-burner. There are three bedrooms each with comfortable beds and bedding. Outside there’s a decked area with a hot tub and BBQ. The bell tents also have their own outdoor shower/toilet pod and an undercover kitchenette with a sink, two-ring electric hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. Inside the bell tents there is a double bed and a sofa bed as well as a table and chairs for dining inside or out. The bell tents sit on a decked area with BBQ, chiminea and a hot tub. All tents have an electricity supply. There's also a launderette on site and reception where you can buy logs and charcoal and a few other supplies.
On-site Alpaca Trekking can be organised with NightSky’s own alpacas. Off site, the closest beach, Porth Neigwl or Hell’s Mouth, is just over a mile away and known for good surf. For a more sheltered beach, head in the other direction off site, for a couple of miles to reach Abersoch main beach. Sailing lessons, kayak and paddleboard hire are all available from Abersoch Sailing School (07917 525540). There’s also another sandy beach four miles up the road at Llanbedrog where you can also head out on walks through heath and woodland. The walk up Mynydd Tir y Cwmwd to the Tin Man sculpture is recommended for beautiful views over Cardigan Bay. The Llŷn Peninsula Coastal Path is an easy route for walkers. Further afield, Pwllheli, the main town on the peninsula is about 8 miles away, Criccieth with its coastal castle is 16 miles away, Porthmadog is 21 miles away with the edge of Snowdonia National Park just beyond that.
Food & Drink
There’s a local shop just 200 metres away which sells all the basics. The closest pub is The Sun Inn (01758 712660), just a mile away, which serves good food. There are lots of bars, restaurants and shops in Abersoch village. For a sundowner overlooking the harbour, try Zinc Bar and Restaurant (01758 713433), for pizza there’s Crust Pizzeria (01758 712896) and for something a bit fancier, perhaps try The Dining Room (01758 740709). Further afield, a trip to the Ty Coch Inn (01758 720498) in Porthdinllaen is recommended – it’s the best beach bar in the world – according to some. Food is only served at lunchtime.

Drive through Pwllheli towards Abersoch. Turn right between Abersoch Land and Sea Boat Sales and Crust Pizzeria. Follow the road for approximately one mile. Drive past Bryn Cethin Bach caravan park and, shortly afterwards, turn left following the signs for Llangian. Drive through Llangian village and at the shop follow the road around to the right. Nightsky Glamping is approximately 200 yards on the left hand side.
There is a bus stop just outside the driveway. From here, you can hop aboard the Llŷn Coastal Bus, a seasonal minibus service that links many popular places on the peninsula. There are regular buses linking Abersoch with Pwellheli (eight miles away) which is well connected with a bus and mainline railway station.
