Our charming quirky Mabel gypsy caravan is 150 years old and the perfect romantic getaway, it is situated in your own fully fenced paddock, dogs are most welcome! It sleeps two people in a comfortable raised double bed with luxury wool bedding. All bed linen, towels and bath mats are provided for your stay. There are two comfortable cushioned seats opposite the warm Queenie wood burning stove ( we also provide you with free wood on your first night) and electricity has been installed throughout. A refreshing hot tub is also available for private use, it is located right next to Mabel for your sole use and enjoyment!
Right outside is your private kitchen area, it is well covered and the kitchen is equipped with a gas ring/gas fired BBQ and a double sink. Mabel also boasts a fabulous newly-built pizza oven and we will be offering delicious homemade pizzas for Mabel’s guests.
Bring your wellies and join our boggy river walk! We also have a small pond & rowing boat (parent supervision is required). We have lots of walking paths and cycling routes from the campsite itself. If you are going to be arriving late do let us know as Carol Anne is more than happy to pre order and collect your choice of food locally or cook up a pan of meat or veggie cawl to greet you.
Visit our local pub called The Boars which is walking distance away, it has great ambiance, friendly staff and hearty pub grub!

Turn right under the railway bridge (before the village of Templeton – no houses or buildings in sight!). Melin Mabes is the first turning on the right (look out for the mini windmills stuck on lampposts). Please park at the gate then call at the static caravan on the left. Do not call at Mabes Mill House on the right as this is where the neighbours live. The nearest bus and train stations are Narberth, or Kilgetty.
